Learning journey description

After your exchange period, compile a learning journey description based on your learning journey log and share it with your tutor or colleagues.

In your learning journey description reflect on:

• the development of your cultural awareness and cultural self
• what you have learned
• whether you have met the learning goals you set for the exchange period at the beginning of the learning journey log
• your plans to develop the skills required for intercultural encounters.
• Consider also the following questions: Did you learn something new about your approach to learning? What do you think is important in facilitating learning in different cultural contexts? Did you learn new skills that are important in facilitating learning in a different cultural context?

You can use any format and media in your learning journey description that helps you both reflect on the questions and present your thoughts (see more in Chapter Tools for reflection).
