Marie’s success story
“When I was at school, I organised a charity fundraising day. We had a cake stall and a group of students doing a sponsored silence over the lunch break. I liaised with teachers and the charity we were raising money for, arranged for letters to be sent home to parents and co-ordinated a team of volunteers. On the day, I made sure that all the volunteers were ok. When one of the volunteers manning the cake stall was feeling ill, I took over from her. I really enjoyed leading and co-ordinating this event.” Read Marie’s success story. What transferable skills and attributes is she showcasing? |
